TONi, the European Family Finance App, raises an angel investment round to launch in 2026
TONi successfully closes initial investments, marking an important milestone towards product finalization
Wiesbaden, 1 May 2025 – Smarter Payment Technologies GmbH, the company behind Europe's Family Finance App TONi, announced an angel investment round to advance its mission of democratizing access to easy financial solutions for the entire family, including children.
Investors in the round are two investment vehicles of angel investors whose funding will accelerate development of the TONi app, with market entry planned for early 2026.
Financial services are evolving at record speed but are not providing solutions for families to manage their money easily. Children are stuck with cash or using their parents' payment cards, and families must resort to multiple providers for savings and wealth creation solutions. Financial education is absent from schools, resulting in billions of wealth not created.
TONi enables children, teens, and young adults to pay digitally while making it easy to manage the entire family's finances through a chat-first UX approach.
